Replacing A Very Old Filter In Tugun Impresses The Manager

At a very nice apartment complex right on the beachfront at Tugun, the resident Manager had been having consistent problems with the clarity of the water in the swimming pool.  For quite some time the water just hadn't had the desired sparkle.

Whilst Tugun is a little further south than we would normally travel, we sent one of our experienced Pool Technicians, Aaron (aka Diesel), to replace the filter which we estimated to be at least 15 years old.  Effectively, over that period of time we calculated that this poor old filter had seen 736,000,000 litres of water pass through it.  Time for an upgrade!

An hour and a half later, Diesel had installed the new filter, an Astralpool CA300 with Eco-clear (crushed) Glass as the filter media, and the pool was back up and running and Diesel was back on the Gold Coast Highway heading North.

The following day we were very pleased to receive the following message from the Manager:

Hi APS,

I would just like to let you know that yesterday when Aaron from your company was on site fitting our new filter, he was so obliging and helpful with our pool needs. He did a great job and cleaned everything up so well.

I have had several tradesmen here over the years and no one has ever cleaned up after themselves like he did.

My husband also made comment on what an obliging person Aaron was and that is why I thought I would send an email as people are always quick to advise if someone is not good and not enough is mentioned when people do a great job.
